TAGZ Website Template

Overview

The TAGZ Website Template provides an interface for a non-technical user to build and edit a website. The administrator area allows adding of sections which will subsequently appear as menu items. Pages can be added to sections by the administrator, based on one of the simple templates. The admin interface allows upload of graphics and documents for use in the website.

Take total control of your website.

The site administrator may add and edit pages in each section. Text for the page is entered using a textbox. There are various tools in the toolbox to align, colour and format the text. Images for the page are selected from a drop down and will display in the page as per their original dimensions. The drop down is built from the available images that have been previously uploaded by the site administrator.

The textboxes and graphics are arranged in the ‘edit’ page in the relative places that they will appear to the internet user. The number and position of textboxes / graphic depends which template has been chosen.

The Web Page

The web page will display to the internet user according to how it has been designed by the administrator within the template.

Banner

This is a graphic that has previously been uploaded by the site administrator. It will display in the page as per its original dimensions. When the banner is created by the graphic designer it should be 800 pixels wide to match the width of the menu. Height is a matter of preference but taller banners will shift page content down the page.

A different banner may be chosen for each section by the administrator.

Menu

The menu is built from the section hierarchy as entered by the administrator. Second level menu options appear when the mouse hovers over the main menu titles.

Teletype

This is a line of text that is dynamically changing to entries as entered by the administrator.

Text Block

The text is displayed on screen as it has been formatted by the administrator when editing the page previously.

Graphic

The graphic that was selected by the administrator when editing the page previously will be displayed as per its original dimensions.

Footer

The footer is static for each page and generally contains the company logo and contact details.
